Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, white head. Biscuit and slight toffee in the nose. Rich, sweet, crystal malts with good floral hops, not adding much bitterness though. A neat 'Mini Bock'. 090925

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Sweet and malty with notes of caramel and a little bittering hop. Smooth bittersweet flavour. Medium body. Okay, but a bit dull.

Can. As Hofbrauhaus Helles Lager, 5.0% in a blue can. Kotor supermarket purchase. Near clear paleish gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth and slightly soft, decent fine carbonation. Smooth and slightly nutty pale malts. Floral mid. A mild lager tang. Decent hoppy citrus on the back end, decent in context of a lager. Light finish. Just needs a little more bitter bite but, a clean and drinkable affair.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rich and lacing, white head with good retention. Malty nose, floral hops. Medium body, a slight, malty sweetness - almost honeyish accents. Good floral hops leaving a solid bitterness. 170925

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a creamy, velvety, beige head. Nose is dry, very subtle toastiness. Medium body, slightly sweet toffee paired with discreet roast and even discreeter bitterness. Very smooth and harmonious. 160825

"Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden Böckei", Fläschchen von Liebick, verkostet 17.6.2025 im Direktvergleich mit dem Hellen Bock aus Ettal. - Orangegold, klar. - In der Nase bocktypisch dichtes aber nicht klebriges helles Malz mit feiner Malzsüße und mild-aromatischer zitroniger Hopfung, die sich mit der feinen Süße und einem Hauch Honig angenehm verbindet. - Antrunk massiv und schwer hellmalzig, ein wenig plump, von mächtiger aber gedämpfter Süße. Die herbale und matt zitrusbittere Hopfung ist beträchtlich, wirkt aber ein wenig stumpf - hier macht sich der Hopfenextrakt bemerkbar. Milder rezent, vollmundig; solide kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang matte Hopfenherbe. - Solide malzschwerer aber ein wenig plumper heller Bock.

500ml bottle. Crystal clear, orange golden coloiur with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Rather expressionless, minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, hoppy overtones with a minimally soapy touch. Taste is mildly bitter and minimally fruity hoppy with weak soapy and waxy aspects, pale malty basis with some residual sweetness, a touch of melon.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very clean, rather simple and monotonous - acceptable.

Bottle 0,.33ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an pretty sweet taste and their is some faint burn of alcohol. Hints of caramel and sour apple combined. Bought it under its alias Böckei.
