Description
The Schlossbrauerei Ellingen with its fine beer specialties has been around since 1690. Experience a piece of our long-standing brewing history with every sip. What makes our beers so unique? FÜRST CARL beers are still brewed by hand in the traditional way in the copper brewhouse of the historic brewery. Our raw materials are natural and come from Ellingen and the region: water from our own well, hops and malt from Ellingen and Franconia. We only brew what we are good at: Franconian beer specialties!

Our family, the princes of Wrede and the team of FÜRST CARL stand behind what we do: first-class beers.

Bottle. Nice Kellerbier-typical, unclear amber color with off-white head. Aroma is rustic malts, fruitiness (lemons, apples, pears), flowery, pleasant. Taste is apple-ish fruitiness again, flowery-lemony, malty, not too sweet, quite earthy bitterness in the back. Soft oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Nice one!
