At BKL16. Dark brown color with hardly any head. Huge peat and wood aroma, like so many other Islay BA beers. But it works out better than in other examples. Dry wood, some sweetness, peaty, low carbonation. Absolutely fine!

At BKL16. Dark brown color with hardly any head. Aroma is bourbon, sugar, caramel, quite delicate and refined. Taste is thick, bourbon aromas, not much beer base detectable. Low carbonation. Well, it’s alright.

Brown color with big tan big-bubbled head, good lacing. Aroma is lacto, milk chocolate. Taste is herbal, milk chocolate, full-bodied, still feels light and fresh. Good.

Hazy orange color with tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is sweet peaches, resinous, toasty malt body, hints of parmesan/vomit and old hops. Still nice. Taste is toasty, fresh, Haribo gum, more peaches. Quite a chewiness. Not bad, definitely unusual.

Rather clear copper-golden color with tan head. Aroma is grassy hops and grapefruit, in a jammy way. Rich enough for the ABV! Taste is grassy, dry, light-bodied, with more grapefruits, but again in a nice jammy fashion. Crisp and clean. Wow for Sub4 ABV!

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Krieger Weißbier ].Unclear - hazy medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast, banan, light clove. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, banan yeast, weizen yeast, clove notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160126]

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Krieger Ludwig der Kelheimer Dunkel ].Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, light roasted, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, light bread, light sugar, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160127]

Tap at BKL16. Brown color with huge head. Aroma is sweet caramel and booze. Some vineousness, some cherries. Low carbonation. Thick mouthfeel. Not too good, but not too bad either.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Smooth malty beginning. Hints of honey and neutral malt. Not very deep, slightly sweetish sugary. Nice but not too great!
