Bottle drunk after setting up the cinema with my new Lowboard table. Medium dark brown, moderate head, grainy roasted nose with some mild hop spiciness and malt sweetness hints. Relatively sweet, pretty simple flavor, lightly astringent aftertaste with mild but somehow less than pleasant bitterness.

(Keg at St Urho's Pub, 20231230) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly tan coloured. Aroma had malts, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, toasted notes and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A tasty and balanced malty brew.

Klarer, dunkler Bernstein im Glas. Frisch, süß, malzig in Nase und Mund. Die dunkelmalzigen Noten kommen mit wenig röstigen Nuancen. Dafür findet sich ein Hauch Pumpernickel und Sherry. Das Bier hat ordentliche 5,6 % Alk. (laut Flaschenetikett, die Homepage des Herstellers spricht von 5,4 %), bleibt aber schön süffig. Die geringe Carbonisierung hat da sicher auch Ihren Anteil. Ein recht feines Dunkles.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, pale malty and slightly hoppy aroma, a cautious spicy-malty touch, quite strawy throughout. Taste is slightly spicy and minimally strawy, pale malty, fairly bitter hoppy with a mineral touch, subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced, harmonious, fairly hoppy and refreshing - not bad.

Clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of pale malt, some grains, straw, floral hops. Taste of pale malt, straw, spicy and floral hops, moderate bitterness.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home in the company of Dad and Pauline Thursday 25th May 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music and it's Round Table tonight. Pours hazy light amber with a large white head, solid with a typical wheatiness, soft mouthfeel, fruity tang. Very good.

Bottle picked up from Getränke Ludwig Endres e.K. Getrankemarkt and consumed at home Sunday 19th February 2023 listening to Dry Cleaning- Stumpwork, smoking a Pulled Pork Joint, Smoked Coleslaw and Carolinar Vinegar Sauce. Pours dark brown with an off white head, actually light cappuccino coloured. Aroma malty with a hint of coffee and caramel, these also show in the mouth. A little thin, some sweetness, it’s ok without ever exciting me.
