Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Bready nose with some raisins. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Bread, grass and raisins. Mildly warming finish.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Hazy golden, small head. Gentle grapefruit and passion fruit aroma. Dry and slender with crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Mild flavours of pineapple, pink grapefruit and passion fruit. Mid bitter finish. Quaffable modern ale from a brewer that seem to handle both traditinal and modern beer styles really well.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Cloudy bright golden, rich creamy head. Fruity grassy nose with a touch of spice. Mid sweet with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Malt dominated with bread and mild spice. Mild bitterish finish. Harmonious and pleasant.

Bottle from Biervana. Very tarry smoky barrel nose, like a typical Caol Ila. Mouth is on the one hand Belgian juicy candy sweet, on the other hand with strong smoky barrel again. Bitter and sweet at the same time. An odd combination for sure, and it doesn’t work for me.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Krieger Pils ].ABV: 4.9%. Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, pale mlt, fruity malt, grass, light metalic. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160210]
