Bottle. Clear golden color with dense white head. Aroma is mild sweetish malts, mild noble hops, some citrus and flowers. Taste is juicy malts, mild noble hops again, really on the classic Helles-malts side, a rather restrained yeast character, just a touch of moreish butter. Very soft mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation, like drinking a cloud. Classic decent, yet unexciting Helles with an extra good mouthfeel.

Bottle. Golden, Fine busy carbonation , white lacing rocky head. Grassy and fine citric hop aromatics on a medium light mellow grainy to strawlike to lightly weak doughy body. Quick herbal, grassy backstop. Easy drink but isnt getting many stylepoints.

Darker amber. Aroma is much yeasty flowery malty caramel with a little banana dough whiff. Taste is cookie dough with yeasty texture. Rather sweet with light bitter yeasty stuff. Slightest booze. Very well rounded and very drinkable. Smooth. Nice.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy and minimally floral, hoppy and grainy, minimally strawy, malty aroma. Taste is mellow malty, mildly grassy, minimally floral, and slightly bitter hoppy, subtle sweetness, a mineral touch. Watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Balanced, rather monotonous - OK.

Krieger Festbier, Flasche per Post von Biertraum. - Tief goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase sattes helles Malz, Sahnebonbons, zart toastig, tief malzsüß; feiner ätherisch-herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk satt hellmalzig mit beträchtlicher Tiefe, ganz zart rauchig und sehr dezent malzsüß. Fein hopfenwürzige, blaß orangenfruchtige Herbe, etwas Orangeat; zarte Butter. Milder rezent, vollmundig, leicht mineralisch. Im Abgang milde, schön hintergründige Herbe. - Sehr solides Festbier, mit viel Sorgfalt gebraut und geradezu elegant ohne abgehoben zu sein. (24.11.2020.)

Bottle from Erzengel as part of Euro local swap, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, caramel, light roasty notes, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, malty bitter sweet finish. Ok.
