Bottle picked up from Biervana, München and consumed at home, Sunday 31st May 2020 listening to Warmduscher - This Tainted Lunch and getting ready to cook a Squid, Chorizo and Chickpea Stew in the wood oven. Pours clear chestnut brown with a cappuccino coloured head. Toffee, caramel and malts dominant here. Lovely sweetness, nice mouthfeel, it's a good beer.

Krieger Urweiße, Flasche per Post vom Biershop Bayern. - Rotgold, hefetrüb. - In der Nase feine Zitrusfrucht, Banane, Gewürze, ein wenig Rhabarber über sattem toastig-süßen Weizenmalz. - Antrunk elegant zitrusfruchtig und zart bananig, satt weizenmalzig mit weicher Bonbonsüße, Honig und Vanille. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hefeweich. Im Abgang milde, leicht herbale Hopfenherbe. - Sehr rundes, fülliges, weiches Hefeweizen. Für Weizenbierfreunde sicher ein Genuß - mir ist ein Untergäriges lieber. (14.5.2020.)

Krieger Ludwig der Kelheimer Dunkel, Flasche vom Biershop Bayern. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar; reichlich Schaum. - In der Nase eher mildes aber solides dunkles Malz, dezent hopfig. - Antrunk satt dunkelmalzig mit schöner Tiefe, deutlicher aber doch dezenter Süße und kernigen Aromen von Karamel, Nuß, Toastbrot und Honig, gut abgeschmeckt mit feiner Frucht (Pflaumenmus) und verhaltener herbaler Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang milde aber gute Herbe. - Kerniges, vielschichtig malzaromatisches Dunkles mit Tiefgang, das schon an ein Märzen oder sogar an einen dunklen Bock heranreicht. Krieger Floriani Bock, Flasche aus Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Tiefes Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase schweres dunkles Malz, tiefe Toastaromen, Karamel, Trockenobst und dezente herbale Hopfung. - Antrunk vollmundig und mächtig dunkelmalzig mit Röstbrot, Honig, Trockenpflaume und schön sirupartiger, nicht zu starker Süße. Beträchtliche aber gut eingebundene Hopfenherbe mit mediterranen Kräutern. Milder rezent, vollmundig; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang solide Hopfenherbe mit feinen zitrusfruchtigen Spitzen. - Sehr schöner Doppelbock mit solidem Malzkörper und aromatischer Hopfung, charakterstark und doch rund. (5.5.2020.)

Krieger Pils, Fläschchen aus Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Orangegold, blank. - In der Nase zurückhaltende zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe, Pampelmuse und feine Kräuter über süßem hellem Malz. - Antrunk brotig-hellmalzig mit würziger Süße, Gerste, Honig und Vanille. Solide aber wenig fokussierte zitrusfruchtige und hopfenwürzige Herbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang solide harzig-zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Untypisches Pilsner, von der Farbe über den Malzkörper bis zum Abgang eher ein kernig gehopftes Helles. Als solches aber durchaus schmackhaft! 330ml Bottle picked up from Fleischman Getränkemarkt, Freising and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Wednesday 15th May whilst cooking various curry sauces from the Curry Guy book and listening to Steve Lamaq on 6 Music. A light amber pour with a slight haze. Aroma, malty and suggesting sweetness. It's sweet, light to mid bitterness but for me doesn't really go anywhere. However it's fine if a little bit safe for what is clearly a craft attempt at an IPA. Ok.

Bottle, as Winterfestbier. Crisp grassy, apple, kiwi skin aroma. Clear golden, offwhite cream. Medium light, dry, lightly metallic, apple pear, kiwi, hay, grassy finish.

Bottle picked up from Liebick Getränke which is on St.-Cäcilia-Straße in Germering, Bavaria, we're in our log cabin in Dachau, Bavaria, Germany. We're listening to the Daniel Blumberg - Minus probably our favourite album of last year, had this beer Tuesday 15th January 2019. Cooking Baked Aubergine with Tomato, Mozerella and Parmesan Cheese. Ok after the frustration of losing half a bottle to a volcano explosion of beer (it was a huge gusher)I love Pedro Xinenez, lovely spirit soaked raisins. Good Bock but the barrel ageing adds another dimension. Soft in the mouth, ok a little boozy but it's great A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov17 3.9

Bottle. Dark amber brown, unstable golden head. Juicy malt, fruity caramel aroma, juniper. Medium mellow body. Honey and caramel base, a bit roast and a hint wood smoke, herbal Hops, juniper, sap. Nice chewy Märzen for the colder months.
