Can shared at Leightons place. A light hazed amber orange coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is woody, boozy fruit,, raisin, apple, cinnamon, jammy fruit. Flavour is composed of medium sweet. Sticky brown sugars, layered malts,. Boozy fruit cake.

Can shared at Leightons place, many thanks to Scopey. A opaque black coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is smoked brown sugars, meat, maple ham, sticky brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, maple, brown sugars, hint of smoke,. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, moderate carbonation, oily.. Nice.

Can shared at LKS. It pours hazy deep amber with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, dried fruits, wood, leather, rum and resin. The taste is dry, sweet, sticky, oily, resinous, wood, leather, tannin, orange marmalade, tangerine, rummy action and some boozy warmth. Full body and fine, foamy carbonation. Rich and boozy finish.

Can shared in London - cheers to Scoopy. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. Nice cocoa and smoke snout. Medium to big sweet flavour, nice rounded chocolate, dark berries, rich smoke. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky, more chocolate, smoke, licirice, burnt maple. Solid.

Can shared at LKS. It pours opaque black with a small blight tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, smoked action, ashtray, tobacco, oily, treacle and dark chocolate. The taste is slick, sticky, oily, smoked action, maple syrup, roasted malt, fruit cake, raisin, sultana, umami and some boozy warmth through finish. Full body and fine carbonation.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - a murky amber brown. Thin head. Nose - honey and marmalade. Taste - luscious marmalade this time. Light wood and hay at the back. Palate - luscious in body and texture but still nice cleaning bitterness. Overall - lovely.

Hazy golden beer with a white bubbly head. Dry, herby and floral aroma. Taste is interesting. A dash of bittersweet citrus with some hops and the aforementioned herby, spicy quality. There's a bit of lemon in the finish and also something slightly peppery too. Even aside from the strength it's not a guzzler but it's tasty and interesting.
