Tap at Hop REvolution 2013. Huge fruity hop nose, oranges, peaches. Sweet, but wonderful fruit flavors, grassy hops as well. Interesting.

Tap at Hop Revolution 2013. Black and shiny. Big chocolate malt nose, with nice hops, though not the huge west coast blast, more earthy, grass, light citrus in the back. Rich malt flavor, again nice hops, grassy and earthy. Very refreshing and likeable.

Draft - Roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. Complete a sense of hops on the nose. Jet black with a thin brown head. Roasted malts, coffee and a punch of hop bitterness that accentuates the coffee. This come across like a bitter coffee beer, more than anything else.

Draft - light citrus and grass hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Citrus and resin with a decent amount of bitterness that is still going into the finish.

Tap @ Hoprevolution Vol.2. Pours pitch black, with a nice head that reduces to a decent lacing. Aroma is fruity, some roast and some grain also there. Taste is really roast, more than I could expect from the aroma. Nice palate-cleaning carbonation, dry aftertaste. Nice beer that I would like to drink more if I can find it again.

Draft - Roasted malts, raisin and the usual dark fruits. Jet black with a beige head. Dark malts, raisin and dark fruits. Just like it smells. Nice and complex, a great beer.

the name is a bit of misnomer as it really isn’t too much thunder, but enjoyable. Big roasted character. Mouth is medium body and bitterness is restrained, but balanced. Decent, not aggressive, but enjoyable
