Description
Italian local couple Massimiliano & Sonia, who initially aimed to produce beer only for the family, without the idea of obtaining revenue or even making it a real job, set up the Maiella brewery. Since our first beers in 2008, now several years have passed, the brewery has been forced to move to the home of 'Noonas' at a higher altitude due to the low fermentation.

Shared 750ml bottle, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pale yellow body, wheat haze with a cloud lag. Huge white head, some of it remaining. Spiced fruity aroma. Coriander, wheat and lemony hops in the flavour profile. Sweet ending balanced with hints of citrus peels. Refreshing.

Ingen nellik&banan. En lettdrikkelig crossover mellom wit og weissbier.

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 10/02/13. Thanks to Sue for letting me pinch her beer a few times to rate it on her birthday! Hazed golden amber with a thin white head that clears to the edge. Nose is yeast esters, fruits, apple, pears, light perfume notes. Taste comprises orchard fruits, yeast, sugars, citrus notes, lemon, spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok and drinkable fayre - not really my bag.
