Description
Italian local couple Massimiliano & Sonia, who initially aimed to produce beer only for the family, without the idea of obtaining revenue or even making it a real job, set up the Maiella brewery. Since our first beers in 2008, now several years have passed, the brewery has been forced to move to the home of 'Noonas' at a higher altitude due to the low fermentation.

Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet, Langnes. Delt med Elsa, Charly& ManU under hyggelig middag i Thyholdtvn. 17 Nov 13. Lys gylden. Lavt skum. Litt uklar. Forsiktig krydderaroma.

Bottle, 75cl. A more or less clear one, golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite fruity and sugary, some apples, orange and peach. It’s semi-sweet on the palate, full-bodied with a pleasant carbonation level. The flavor is mostly fruity, with orange and yellow apples, some grainy malts and white sugar. A little bitterness too, especially in the finish. Nothing impressive going on, creds for using a fruit rarely used in brewing, even if it’s in the form of marmalade. 131206
