Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2022. A light hazed pale greenish yellow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, mealy apple pear, grainy, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangy pear, prickly pear, some alcohol, beak. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, apple, spicy. Ok.

From the cellar (bladder?) at the Plough, Worcester, 03/09/22. Moderately hazed orange with no head. Nose is bitter apple skins, light funk, hedgerow, herb. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, tannins, funky edge, orchard wood, trace of sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Taste comprises pear drop, orchard fruits, stewed pears, residual sugars, light tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent Perry.
