Hopfig-grasiger, getreidig und süßer Geruch. Minimal süßer Antrunk mit fruchtigem Unterton, ein alkoholischer Touch ist zu erkennen. Etwas malzig, der Mittelteil erscheint etwas zu mild, der Nachgeschmack ist dagegen mit malzig-süßen Tönen fast schon vollgestopftf. Auch wenn es sich nicht so anhört, das Bier ist harmonisch und angenehm. Minimal kratzig. Test vom 29.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,10,12,11,10,11 - 10,75

0.5l bottle brought from Germany by my friend Daniel (thanks!), shared with ozujsko. This poured a misty dark yellow colour with a huge white head, that went away slowly. Chunky, white yeast residue on the bottom of the glass. Sourish lemon and clove nose with some bananas. Light, watery, subdued taste, mild indeed. A bit.. well... "blunt" for the lack of a better word. Some lemony hopiness shows up from time to time in a taste that is, maybe a bit bready, with some nice spiciness drowned in the dullness of the overall taste. No aftertaste. A disappointment, really, after seeing that "recipe from 1693" part, but that "mild weizenbier" bit did keep me a bit suspicious, and that bit, unfortunately, proved to be the key word here.
