Vom Holzfass bij Wettelsheimer Keller. Amber kleur, witte kraag. Vrij zoet, getoast hout, licht kruidig alsof het cederhout is, moutig, perziksnoepjes, hint van caramel, degelijk bitter, licht metalig. Lichte body. OK.

Bottle, most likely from Haussmann Getränke. Slightly hazy dark gold, medium head. Sweet caramel nose, hint of butterscotch. Malt-dominated flavor, not too sweet though, a bit of citrusy note. Moderate body. Too little bitterness for the style I believe, though it goes down smoothly for sure. Nice brew.

Bottle, 500 ml, courtesy of kajser27. Shared with him and MiroB. Cloudy dark gold with small white head. Malty, tad fruity, yeasty, watery. Light to medium bodied.

Wettelsheimer Wet Premium Pils, Fläschchen von REWE, Merkendorf (AN). - Goldgelb, klar; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase aromatischer aber runder Hopfen, Gras und dezente Zitrusfrucht über zart vanillesüßem hellen Malz. - Antrunk weich und schlank hellmalzig mit zarter Süße. Schöne grasige und weich zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang schöne grasig-zitronige Herbe. - Feines Pilsener süddeutscher Art, mild aber aromatisch gehopft und von verhaltener aber solider Malzigkeit. (14.6.2020.)

Light amber color. Malty aroma with cake dough. Malty sweet flavor with cake dough, peach and an underlying hopbitterness. Thick mouthfeel. Its just a good märzen!

Golden color. Cake dough aroma with a hint of flowers. Malty, light hoppy flowery flavor. Slightly herbal aftertaste. Tasty helles.

Wettelsheimer Pils: 0,5 litre bottle. Light golden color, frothy head. Very light malty and flowery aroma. Malty, flowery flavor with hints of soap. Grassy, light hoppy, flowery aftertaste. Wettelsheimer Wet Premium pils: 33 cl bottle. Pale golden color, foamy head. Light hoppy, somewhat soapy citric aroma. Malty, hoppy citric flavor. Excellent well balanced pilsener! Above rating is an average of these two taste notes.
