Description
Bullfrog Brewery is a proudly independent and multiple award-winning craft microbrewery, brewpub, and eatery nestled comfortably in the vibrant heart of downtown Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Born of fortuitous circumstance and ambitious aspiration, we opened in August of 1996 with a committed 'focal on local' philosophy and a simple yet lofty goal ... to be the place that people need to spend time, to brew beers that people need to have in their life, to offer food that people need to eat, to offer live music that people need to hear, and to be the place that our beloved staff need to work. Bullfrog beers are renowned far and wide, especially our artfully-crafted, barrel-aged wild ales such as Le Roar Grrrz and Rood Bruin. Here at "The Frog," we celebrate life by creating outstanding and memorable beers, food, friendships, and moments.

From a 75 cl bottle shared with the folks at Roadhouse Brewery in Jackson. Poured a cloudy dark brown with mostly tan head. Aromas of raisins and acetic acid. Sour, acidic flavors, balanced with some vinous and oak notes. Pretty good stuff.

Deep ruby body, with a small, slightly pink head.
Aroma of red wine, dark grapes, smooth funk, young cheese, dark berries.
Tastes similar, with more wood.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smooth, moderate acidic, medium dry, wooden, vinous, fruity, with grapes, apples, pears.

Very tasty. Greatly balanced, very smooth to drink, with lovely vinous notes throughout and a well dosed sourness. Feels very elegant. My favourite one from Bullfrog I've had.

Tastes quite similar, with a bit less vinegar and the cherries more prominent.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.

very nice. The nose is a bit too acidic, but the taste is very nice, with the cherries beautifully showcased. Not outstanding maybe, but still a lovely Kriek.

750 ml bottle from Mikkeller Webshop, bottled 6/5/15.
Amber, hazy body, with floaties and a small, yellowish head.
Aroma of unripe peach, pears, green apples, citrus, some sour berries, vinegar, some funk.
Tastes similar, with more wood, more dryness, slight horse blanket.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, wooden, medium sour, with lots of green apples, pears, lemon, some funk, subtle vinegar.

Tasty. Really balanced and smooth to drink, very fruity, with the acidic notes well dosed. Pretty dry and wooden, but not too overpowering. The only little flaw is the lack of a bit more funk. Straight, characterful, classic Gueuze.
