Faintly yellowish head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Bit woody & fruity nose, pale plums seem reasonably present; Sweetish-sour fruit, unripe (plums), flowery flavours. Acidthinning, medium carbonation, slick. Quite decent, but any fruit might have given this flavour.

Pink head, reasonably stable, over opaque red beer. Cherries, other fruit, cherrystones. Sweet-sour cherries, bit of vanilla, young oak, sweet/sour jam or jelly. Cherry flavour keeps lingering long into the aftertaste. Acidthinning, slightly slick. Not half bad, this one is a convincing one, which is more than I can say about most of the "Grrrz"’s I suppose than is how ’gueuze’ sounds to Anglo-Saxons?

Pinkish head, stable, over amber-rosé beer with no visual carbonation. Benzene, cheesy, old fruit, old hops. Soapy, cheesy unnatural appearing flavours, even rubber, sulphur. Slick, feels well-carbonated; Not very special, tastes even artificial.

Small white rim over orange-copper beer. Fruit (mainly red fruit), horseblanket, praliné. Rather sweet, vanilla, young oak, red fruit. Feels better carbonated than it looks; bit slick, slight acidthinning all the same. Bit lame in the end, especially as flavours seem petering out.

No head; ochre-orange, clear beer. Lambic-like nose, with horseblanket, sour grapes, lemonpeel and toilet soap. Horseblanket, sweet woodruff, garden herbs, turmeric; spicy, yet sweet. Lipstick in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, quite slick, and apparently a bit of oxydation. Not half bad. But whatever American raters may think of it, this ain’t a gueuze, sorry.

Refrigerated 75 cl May 2015 brown bottle poured into a Teku. Clear deep golden with small white head. Aroma is tart, light body, medium carbonation, and god small-bubble lacing. Taste is delicate tart, oak, white grape, some funk, and easy drinking. Very nice geueze.

At home. Bottle courtesy of Maakun. Slightly hazy near red amber with offwhite pinkish head. Poep aan je schoen. Cherries from a jar, old strawberries, cow poop, horse blanket, bandaid, hay, fruitstone, sweaty funk., woody Light sweet and almost not sour. Medium body, dry woody. Soft carbonation. The poopies go away after airing a bit.
