From tap at Richtar Jakub. Pours hazy orange with a small yet dense, creamy and chalk white head. Aroma is fruity, wheaty and estery. Fruity, light chemical and estery. Bitter and dry into the finish.

Bottled (from meinbiershop.de). Found in an old forgotten box. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some grains, hay and some slight grassy notes. Flavour is bready malts, some hay, mild grass and some mild cardboard and herbal notes. Quite typical low alcohol.

Tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12. Hazy orange in appearance with a thick dollop of white head. Banana and a little citrus on the nose. Fruits and a little yeast in the flavour which has a crisp finish to it. Decent hefewieze.

Bottle from REWE, Buttenheim. Copper coloured with a slight, white head. Light, wood smoke aroma balanced by some caramel sweetness. Flavour had plenty more smoke, reminiscent of an open fire with some more fruity sweetness and a roast, dry finish. Enjoyable.

Tap at the Brau Haus - 27/04/12. Clear bungle-brown colour with a big finger + of dirty white head that soon thinned. Smoked malts/frazzle crisps light is the predominant smell allied to a little wood. Caramel flavour a hint of raisens subdued smoky malts - quite subtle compared to some Rausch. Medium body decent carbonation.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Clear, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Ashy, burnt malty, smoky, caramel, toasty aroma. Somewhat spicy, chewy, campfire ashy, toasty malty flavor. Pretty tasty but nothing like a Spezial or Schlenkerla.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Fairly clear, golden appearance with an off white head. A bit yeasty, grainy, rich hay, a bit sweet, floral aroma. Light corn, chewy straw, hay, somewhat sweet flavor. There’s a slight buttery element to it as well. Not as good as I was hoping.

Dobre piwo wędzone, ale dalekie mu do specjalności z Bamberga. Minusem jedynym jest bardzo mała warstwa piany i do tego szybko znika. W smaku jest, bo wędzonkę się wyczuwa, może nie intensywnie ale zawsze. Podobnie z zapachem
