Bottle: Light amber coloured, small, but stable off-white foamy layer, restrained, not very sweet, toasted malty nose with a distinctive amount of hops in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; moderate, as well, malty - with a fruity tinge - and hoppy finish. A bit "tired", but not bad........

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white bubbly head. Aroma is malts, saltwater, grass and some slight mild spicing. Flavour is quite the same but the grassyness is stronger, and also it’s quite much sweeter than what the aroma "promised".

Golden color, small white head. Light sweetish malty aroma. Par with flavor: sweetish malty with very light hoppyness in the background. Clean but boring.

A bit pale golden color, good white cloudy head. Grassy hoppy, buttery aroma. A bit metallic, grassy, slightly buttery flavor. Very typical South German handcrafted pils. Nicely drinkable.

Draft. A chestnut colored beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with quite strong notes of caramel and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty again with quite strong notes of nuts and caramel, leading to a dry and slightly roasted finish. Quite low level of residual sugar - and very fresh for the style.

Draft. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, and hints of brew mash. The flavor is sweet malty with a fresh flowery hoppy note, that starts early, and lasts all the way to the lightly bitter finish.

Draft. An unclear very light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with quite a lot of citrus notes, making it very fresh. The flavor is very sweet with some notes of citrus, which reminds me of vitamin c, leading to a light and rather dry wheaty finish. The body is a bit light.

Draft. A copper colored beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol, berries, and metal. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a dry woody, nutty, and alcoholic finish. In the sweet end for the style, and also seems a bit light for the style.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish hue. Creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with very roasted malty accents - almost coffeeish. Dry, almost stout-like, with a light bitterness that seems to derive mainly from the dark malts. Nice indeed. 091106
