Bottle from Wine Reserve, Cobham. My views on this cider may have been affected by the fact that it took three of us to get the plastic cork out. It just wasn't budging. Pungent sour apple peel aroma. Pale gold. Slightly hazy. No head. Sour apple with vinous hints. Light bodied. Thin. A tad chalky. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A cider. A dry cider.

Draught at Grand Army: pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is earthy, funky, apple and stuff. Taste is pretty dry. Earthy. Lightly funky. Slightly tart.

Endelig mandag igjen, og vi er klar for kveldens første cider her på Cardinal (sept-18): lett uklar strågul nesten uten skum. Tørr aroma og smak av epler (no surprise there) og ikke så mye annet. Nesten astringerende i avslutningen. Frisk men en smule forglemmelig.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 17.09.18. Translucent pale straw colour. No head. Interesting aroma of wild apple zest, leather, sulphur and barnyard. Sour and interesting taste of wild apples, apple zest and acid. Dry and astringent mouthfeel.

Bottle pours out straw color topped with a white head. Nose is over ripe apples some earthy notes spice and funky lacto maybe. Taste is more of the nice over ripe apples some funky notes and a little floral.

Bottle from the Cider Vault, London. It pours clear pale straw yellow with a couple of bubbles on top. The aroma is earthy, funky, barnyard, must, dusty, spice and apple skin. The taste is firmly dry, funky, barnyard, dusty, earth, wood, slightly lactic, some sharpness, bright acidic kick, apple skim, granny smith apple and a touch of apple cider vinegar with a bone-dry finish. Medium body and just the finest touch of carbonation. Pretty unique character. Super dry, kick of acidity and funk. Classy stuff.

Bottle 375ml. corked @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Isastegi Sagardo Naturala Gorenak ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, green apples, apple skin, light funky. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, apple, tart apples, green apples, citrus - lemon, medium dry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.
