Bottle from Getränkeland, Hvidovre. Clear golden with a big white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. This brings back a lot of memories from a time way before I knew anything about beer. I visited Rostock for a week with the my high school class and we drank a whole lot of this stuff. 181212

Rerate from tap. In much better shape. Lightly sweet grainy base, grassy hops, good chewiness. 63429Bottle. Pale golden, fluffy white head. Fine hop aromatics, flowery, fruity and grassy. Fairly lightbodied, a bit tinny and strawlike. Hops do not follow through. Archetypical pale lager - No way the beer was brewed like this more than 100 years ago.

Bottle: Golden, clear, white fluffy loose white head, delicate grainy-malty nose, a bit corny, too, some grassy hops underneath plus faint alcoholic traces; light sweet bitter flavour, medium bodied; short sweet-grainy finish. Not great, still drinkable…
