Bottle. Dark copper colour. Big semi-stable white head. Fruity flavour, hint of smoke. Quite clean flavour with a sweet aftertaste. 5 3 6 3 12
Bottle, 6.9%. Clear copper colour. White head, not so stable. The flavour is slightly caramelly with a mild alcohol note to balance. Not as flavourful as many other Bocks, tastes a bit like a cross between imperial pils and Bock. But not bad. 6 3 6 3 16

Bottle. Brown sugar, raisin, metal aroma. Nice chestnut brown colour, small head. Clean taste, not very malty or peppery. Quite nice. 6 3 7 3 14
Bottle, 6.9%. Bready aroma. Clear brown colour, sparkling. Big stable creamy tan head. The flavour is peppery at first, has a good alcohol note. Also good mouthfeel. Then comes some caramelly sweetness, a little too sugary perhaps. But nicely rounded and well-balanced. 6 3 7 3 15

(Bottle 50 cl) Rather pale without much head. Fresh hoppy nose, but unfortunately the sharp bittering hops pretty much kills my palate. 220899

An amber beer with a nice though disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries - especially cowberries, as well as hints of dust and alcohol. The flavor contains notes of wood, dust, and berries. The alcohol set in just when You swallow giving a lot of warmth and drying out the mouth - almost to the point that it gives You a metallic feeling on the tongue.

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with alcohol being very dominant, but it also contains hints of fruit. The flavor is sweet again with alcohol being most dominant, but also with notes of metal and caramel.

Re-rate from bottle. Better head retention this time, attractive amber colour. Godd broad malt notes, clean flavours, good balace - fitting hoppy finish. Good chewy mouthfeel, mellow mouthfeel. Has gonw from bad to a quite pleasant drinkable Heller Bock. Old rating: Bottle 4 3 4 3 7 Neutral aroma. Orange amber color, low head. Boring euro strong lager. Ethanol is apparent
