Minerally nose in the seidel. Fruity start, grassy and flowery hops, country beer minrals, fairly clean though. Medium body, quite moreish.

Ceramic mug @ the hotel. Slightly herbal accent with a light breezy malt note. Has some diacetyl notes on the palate, with light malt. Low bitterness and low hop character makes this a disappointing example. A re-rate @ the keller had less diacetyl and more minerals, bringing the beer out of its shell a bit more. Rating is a split between the hotel score and the keller score.

Cloudy and tan with an even head. Nice, if stereotypical hefe look. Light and slightly fizzy. Melds sweet banana and a light wheaty note. Fairly standard, good hefe in the Munich mode.

Draught at Wilde Rose-Keller, Bamberg. Probably golden, small head. Grassy bready nose. Dry and crisp, yet rounded. Streamlined with agreeable levels of bitterness. Refreshing and pleasant.

Draught @ Gasthof Wilde Rose, Bamberg. Clear yellow / golden color with a average frothy good lacing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, fruit, moderate hoppy, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet nad light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, body is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ Gasthof Wilde Rose, Bamberg. Hazy amber color with a average good lacing mostly diminishing white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, roasted, and light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
