Bottled, thanks jeverszeuge! Clear mahogany colour, rich but brief head. Aroma of bready malt, lingonberries and slivovic. Sweet and nicely bready with soft, deep malt character. Gentle and well balanced with notes of blueberries and spun sugar. Mild and warming.

Bottle (thanx to joss) Clear, amber coloured,mid-sized off-white head;sweet malt, dark malt and dark fruit in the nose with a touch of molasses; solid sweet flavour, with a very faint bitterness, medium bodied, soft MF; quite sweet-fruity finish. A solid Doppelbock, could be a bit better balanced..........

Tap. Light aromatic hops. Cloudy pale yellow, stable lacing bright white foam. Flavors are in the citrussy corner, both from the fruity yeast notes and the hops. Lightbodied with a sparkly mouthfeel. Fruity yeast aftertaste. Fresh

Short lived tan head over clear, dark-brown beer. Nutty nose, a bit oxydized already, green dark leaves. Sweet, nutty and indeed again a bit oxydized though not bad (before BBd!). A little taste of hazelnutoil, even slightly rancid. Bit burning, then medium bodied with little or no carbonation. Long oily MF. Just an average Doppelbock. Beautiful colour, but it’s brandy rather than Noyac. Thanks, Joss!
