500ml bottle from Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours hazy orange with fuzzy white head. Aroma is bright bilberries. Taste follows with a bilberry / blueberry bonanza, mellowing somewhat to a pleasant colourful ale.

Cask (gravity) @ 29th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2012, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, apple, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, easrthy, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20121204]

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium orange amber colour with a small, fizzy to frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, sweet nutty - honey, apple notes, sewer notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malt extract, honey notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120504]

At Hucknall Beer Festival - Ruby red body, white head. Decent maltiness about the taste, a bit biscuity on the taste, grainy and sweet in places. Not too bad.

@ Hucknall Beer Festival - a quality looking and smelling brew, dark brown body, thin frothy white head. Nose of fruit, the dark cake variety, almost rum-like. The taste is initially sweet, but has a richness to it similar to a secondary liqueur casked ale, with a massive hit of booze at the end. To say I liked this is an understatement, many will follow who disagree, but this was the highlight of my day!

Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. Clear dark red - amber beer. Tidy suddy pale tan head. Light dry palate. Mild minerals and mild carbonation. Mild floral sweetness. A little lactose. Dry finish. All right if a bit dry.

Mild and tangy dried fruit hops - little apricot. Dry finish. All right but was expecting a little more hop for a 6.5% beer. A bit dry.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer, residual suddy white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Mild carbonation. Sweet malt and a lot of sweet apples. Semi dry finish. Kinda toffee apple but I’m guessing not what it’s meant to me. Much too green.
