Can picked up from Železná Ruda, Czechia and consumed at home Monday 9th September 2024 listening to Steve Lamaqs evening session, cooking Peanut Butter Chicken with an Indonesian Rice. Pours mid gold with a mid sized white head, nice carbonation. There is a jolly nice bitterness that slowly builds, also light and fruity. Straightforward but pleasant enough.

50 cl pour from a restaurant called Gate in Prague a couple of days ago. Dimpled glass. A coal black pour with a tall, creamy tan head. It tasted of malt, grain, some chocolate, coffee, a touch of smoke and something herbal. Interesting, sort of a mix between a Shiner Bock and a Guinness Stout. A good dense sensation. Pleasant beer to be sampling on a late afternoon, outdoor cafe-style.

Can. Dark reddish brown, beige head. Aroma of caramel, prunes, toast. Not as sweet as threatened but as the other side of the coin, a bit empty too.Toast, some steeed fruit, lightening and tightening spicy bitterness. Solid stuff.

[On tap at a restaurant in Prague.] A glossy and opaque cola brown colour with a thick cream head; toasted malt aroma; smooth malty body and a pleasant bitterness from burnt grains. Very drinkable.

Tap at Arthurs Pub. Clear amber-golden body, creamy off-white head. Bit yeasty aroma, light floral-herbal. Ugh, yeasty sweet taste, bit caramelly/sweetish-malty, almost no bitterness. Hah, as expected from Ostravar strong...

10/3/2024. Can from a supermarket in Prague. Pours close to black with a frothy light beige head. Aroma is toasted, malty, ashy, chocolate, liquorice, meaty molasses notes. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight prickly carbonation. Drying finish. Not bad.
