Bottle. Hazy yellow color with no head. Aroma is apples, sweetish apples, a touch earthy funk. Taste is the same, with some tannins and a nice tartness. Still feels kinda sweet though, and light-bodied. Quite refreshing and drinkable.

Der Apfelwein beginnt süffig-herb. Schön mild mit minimaler Restsüße. Voluminös mit Tanninen. Denndoch süffig. Eine fruchtige Apfelsäure ist deutlich spürbar, schön dreidimensional durch eine ausgewogene Mostapfel-Sortenmischung erkennbar. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine angenehme Fruchtsäure mit Tanninen und aromatischen Apfelnoten. Lecker!

Dieser Apfelwein beginnt etwas süßer und fruchtiger als die Spezial Auslese. Dennoch Apfelig, aber nicht so tanninhaltig. Deutlich schlanker im Körper, dadurch aber auch nicht so tief. Sehr süffig mit einer gewissen Restsüße, aber da der Körper dünner zu sein scheint, halten sich die Aromen auch nicht so lange auf der Zunge. Es bleiben ein paar schöne Tannine mit einer guten aromatischen Apfelnote und ein bisschen fruchtiger Säure. Schön und süffig. Dennoch finde ich die „Spezial-Auslese“ aus gleichem Hause tiefer und ansprechender.

Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle. The cider starts fresh and smooth. Lots of fruity apples with the nice elder blossom flavours. Sweetish-smooth, round but nice, fresh, fruity with lots of apples there. Nice fresh-fruity aftertaste. Round and fresh!

500ml swing-top bottle from Drinks of the World, Winterthur, drunk in the garden in Shropshire on a sunny day. Pours a very pale yellow, fizzy with a light apple juice taste, some sweet pear and sugar coming through too. Fairly thin tasting but very light and drinkable on a day like today.

Bottle bought in Liechtenstein. Nice moderate apple aroma. Slightly acetic nice dry apple flavor. Average finish. Greenish yellow cloudy colour. Oily palate. Nice.
