Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Can from Tavour. Pours. hazy gold with a moderate white head. aroma is a mysterious thing. It might have some broccoli, and it might have some citrus. I think it surely does have a white berry and earth with a slight dank hint. Juicy, but lightly sweet. Bitter enough to balance. The broccoli seems to be turning into dank herb. Let’s call it weed. On reflection there seems to be a fair amount of Rozen, but it doesn’t seem to pine. This beer is amazingly hard for me to pass. Pretty good flavor.

Can from Tavour. Pours bright gold with a modern white head that didn’t persist. Aroma is mostly dank citrus. Medium body. It’s very hoppy. A little pale malt Support is barely discernible. Quite bitter. Flavor is dank, mostly citrus, some pale prunus fruit, and some hints of pepper spice. That could be from passionfruit. tank and delicious.

Big hoppy aroma like an Ipa. Taste steps back and lets the malt come forward with hop edges. Balanced full finish.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 13, 2026.
Aroma is dank forward with lots of oily, fusel, diesel and resinous pine notes. Quite a bit of grapefruit with a bit of tropical fruit as well. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear, slightly yellow, gold color with a medium sized, fairly thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers.
Flavor is a bit sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Lots of dank, oily, resin hop notes with some pine, onion and garlic. Lighter grapefruit pith, tangerine and tropical citrus. Hints of tropical fruit.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA with lots of dank, oily, pine notes and an assertive bitterness that lingers into the finish. Light malt and alcohol notes, but strong enough to carry the hops and bitterness.
