Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 20, 2026.
Aroma is very bready and grain forward with some light floral and fruity notes. Hints of herbal, grassy hops and a light alcohol notes.
Pours a slightly hazy, pale, yellow-gold with a medium sized, moderately thick, fluffy, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. Light lacing and faint legs.
Flavor is a bit sweet with medium light bready, grain notes. Medium bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Medium light floral, fruity esters. Light grassy, herbal hop notes.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, an alright helles, but there is something slightly off in the esters. They are a bit too strong, sweet and fruity in the flavor for my taste. Perhaps about more bitterness and herbal, spicy hop notes would help balance it.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours bright gold with a large foamy whitehead that slightly laced. Aroma of weed, citrus and green melon. Flavor pretty much matches the aroma. It has a nice dank characteristic. Pale malt supports a nice load of bitter hops. Very tasty.

Aroma is super dank and oily with lots of pine resin. Light gooseberry, passion fruit, and citrus notes with hints of stone fruit. Light bready grain notes and faint alcohol notes.
Pours a very clear, yellow-gold color with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers in clumps.
Flavor is slightly sweet with a light bready, cracker malt note. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Lots of dank, oily, pine resin notes. Medium light gooseberry, grapefruit and tropical citrus. Lighter stone fruit and passion fruit.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Great dank, oily hop notes that give fresh weed notes. Lighter citrus and fruity notes to compliment the dank. Really light malt profile with balanced alcohol notes.

Can from Tavour: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, mango, some light dankness. Clean hazy IPA, which hits all the high marks of the style. Truth be told, I thought this was a better example than many OH beers I had recently.
