Draught at Bramling Cross, 8/19/16.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, bronze-golden body shows a strong white head atop.
Spicy, heavily citrusy hops in the nose show both a good amount of dank, green, fresh hop aroma, as well as some fruity and slightly more aggressive pine. The grapefruit is strong, as well, but it doesn’t come off too resinous, thanks in part to a healthy showing of base malt. Certainly a West Coast IPA, through-and-through. No alcohol or flaw.
Malty, but predominantly a honey-like maltiness, with a brisk carbonation and plentiful citrus notes. Strong bitterness, with spicy pine and moderate dank character. Bit of orange juiciness, but it dries quite heavily on the finish, thanks to the strong citrus and hop acidity. Quite "big" and though it’s not boozey, it certainly drinks its size, if not more.

Draft pour pint at Thirsty Hop. Lighter golden pour with a thin fizz head. Orange fruit and citrus hop aroma. Flavor is a bit on the vegetal side with the hops. Grassy, and a bit off-putting. Lingering odd bitterness. Average drinkability, but less what I look for in an IPA.

Draft pour pint at the brewery. Pours golden with a thin oily head. Citrus and grassy hop aroma. Soft citrus and grain flavor. Bitter finish. Alright pale. UPDATE. Enjoyed on draft at Hop and Hound. Much more refreshing on this go around. Enjoyable malt bill. Juicy hops to pair. Tasty.

Draught at Chippy’s, 11/7/15.
Cloudy/murky tangerine-brass colored beer with a small white head that fades quickly.
Not much tangerine in the nose, with biscuity malts, light clove and banana and some dry, papery notes that I couldn’t yet put my finger on...
Oh hello, it’s you, diacetyl. Quite apparent in the flavor, not as bad as the ENIAC 2.0 I had earlier, but still enough to ruin the experience. How the hell did they get diacetyl in their wheat beer, of all beers??? You gotta be rushing the beer out the door way too fast to do that, so kudos to them for achieving this....Otherwise quite bland and watery, with vague citrus character and nutty, chewy wheat notes.
