Great looking beer, clear yellow body and white head. Faint yard aroma. Light malt forward taste with a little hop edge and an end of tongue tang finish.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Medium gold color topped by a pillowy white head. Floral hop aroma hints at citrus and stone fruit. Flavors of biscuity malt, sweet citrus and bittersweet pine. Notes of grapefruit, orange, peach and pine. Dry bitter finish. Pleasantly refreshing and drinkable.

Aromas are a bit mild blend of citrus, resin and malt. Flavors are much better than nose, everything stands out more and add in some MJ. Excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Wish I had more. Very tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a huge foamy white head. Aroma has a deal of citrus. Med body or better. Dry and quite bitter. Malt is hard to find. Flavor is very citrus with pine, guava and passion fruit. Probably more. Excellent flavor.

12 oz. can, pours a hazed pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma has bright citrusy hops, some pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with lots of fresh citrus zest, pine, and biscuity malt. Bright, citrusy, nicely piney finish. Great westie.

On tap at Chuck’s Greenwood, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of earthy hops and deep toasted malt. Flavour is deep, with a wonderful balance of roasted malt and earthy, piney hops. Now this is an old school black IPA that doesn’t skimp on the hops or malt. Excellent.

12oz can at Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, small foamy white head. Hoppy aroma, piney, dank. Taste comes with an oily feel, pine needles coupled with dank, musty flavors. Awesome!
