The original brewery and tasting room in Ballard closed to the public in 2015 when our Taproom opened, but we still brew pilot batches here every week on our 5bbl system. Our Taproom features a brewery right in the middle of the tasting room, where we brew batches of beer that you’ll taste in both here, at The Brewtap, and in distribution. Our system here is 15bbl. In 2019 a new production brewery opened. This is where we brew the majority of the beers you see in cans and bottles on our 30bbl brewhouse, it is also home to The Brewtap, our second tasting room.
At our family brewery we brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making that extra effort is worth it. From your everyday favorites beers to our innovative new releases, we help you grow your love of beer.

Oaky reddish brown. Chocolate and figs on the nose. Lots of interesting spices all at once. Coriander, cloves, peppers and more banana runts that I got in the hefe

Straw yellow cloudiness of a hefe. The nose is a limoncello creaminess mixed with fresh hay and wheat grassiness. It’s very interesting. Creamy is the biggest note. Oddly enough, I get banana runt candies and a sweet finish

Minor haze and Oaked darkness. Simcoe and chinook heavy. Threres a tangerine rind nose mixed with cedar chips and pine needles. Taste falls short of the nose but it’s still a great IPA. I think the rye takes away from this beer. Almost like adding spruce tips to an already well bittered beer. Pretty medicinal at the finish. Nice quality beer despite the downfalls

Nice clarity amber appearance but thin in looks. Nose is spot on to a red ale, maybe closer to an English brown but it’s to style for sure. I don’t get rye on the nose. You know what? Dang. This is pretty damn good. Lots of astringent hop bitterness. Tastes like an English bitter with the the presence leading to almost almost a caramel apple cookie. Lots of chewiness in this one and lingers forever

Gorgeous clarity. Nice lacing. Light yellow. Sort of a candy corn nose with caramel and sugars. Slight bread dough. Not bad. You certainly don’t get the abv at all. Mild spice at the finish. Sweet and slight maple taste. Belgian yeast isn’t too apparent

pale hazy straw. Sticky head Has a nice presence of crystal and Vienna malts nose isn’t too bitter, More of a Saaz nose. I don’t get any pumpkin or spices on the nose. Taste is great. Lots of clove and nutmeg with a dash of cinnamon. Very creamy with candied yams
