The original brewery and tasting room in Ballard closed to the public in 2015 when our Taproom opened, but we still brew pilot batches here every week on our 5bbl system. Our Taproom features a brewery right in the middle of the tasting room, where we brew batches of beer that you’ll taste in both here, at The Brewtap, and in distribution. Our system here is 15bbl. In 2019 a new production brewery opened. This is where we brew the majority of the beers you see in cans and bottles on our 30bbl brewhouse, it is also home to The Brewtap, our second tasting room.
At our family brewery we brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making that extra effort is worth it. From your everyday favorites beers to our innovative new releases, we help you grow your love of beer.

16 oz. can, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is vibrant, with big tropical fruit notes, some stone fruits, citrus hops, and some pine. Flavour is massively fruity and hoppy, with big tropical fruit notes, stone fruits, grapefruit rind, pungent citrus hops, some pine, and resins. Malt backbone is on the thinner side, which I like. Finishes extremely juicy and boldly hoppy, with moderate bitterness. Really excellent.

Draft 13 oz pour at Elliott Bay Pizza. Bright and juicy appearance. Sticky lacing. Smooth taste, with lots of juicy character. With its strength I expected some heat, but this remains easy drinking. Cool citrus and stone fruit nose. Creamier body, slick taste. Gentle notes of melon. A little grain to balance lingers on the palate. Don't usually describe borderline triple IPAs as well balanced, but here we are. Really nice brew here.

Can from Fred Meyer, Everett, WA
Blond colour, pale, slightly hazy. Dry, lean, crispy, with some mineral and earthy traits, may be a combination of fermentation and hopping; bold bitterness.
Very good.

Can from Fred Meyer, Everett, WA
Cloudy pale blond colour. Nice aroma, fresh, tropical fruits. Dry mouthfeel, feels a bit watery; there's some wheat, maybe oats; it's quite bitter, but it seems not in balance, for lack of body and sweetness; the hop has some redeeming quality, tropical fruit, citrus peel; but the finish is weak and boring.
Good, light.

2020 bottle. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a big, foamy, tan head. The aroma is vanilla, cinnamon, apple, lovely toasted oak, peach, and light toast. Very sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness and a bit boozy. Heavy, lively, and chewy. Quality, enjoyable, and complex.
