Aroma is sweetish and hoppy with some pineapple juice and passionfruit. Also hints of minerals. Flavour has pineapple juice, some fruit sugar tones, hops and distant mineral tones. A bit leathery finish. Too sugary but not bad.

Aroma has hayish notes, toffee and butter. Some roasted coffee also. Feels like a low-abw English stout. Flavour is dry and roasted with buttery tones and ash. An IS in English way.

Chill-hazed deep golden/copper body is topped by plentiful white head showing strong retention.
Hugely hoppy nose is full of strong peachy-lemon fruitiness and a fair amount of acidity. Pine emerges quickly and alongside the grapefruit and heavy leaf-like astringency, it quickly becomes clear this is going to be very aggressive. Bready malts produce a sourdough-like note in conjunction with all of this hop resin, while there is a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish and a bit of fusel character.
Unbelievably acidic in the mouth. Hop resin, lemon concentrate, pine sap, etc....Very well-attenuated, too much so, as there’s not nearly enough malt to balance. It’s not even the extreme amount of hops used, rather just the poorly executed boiling schedule for them. Way too much bitterness and borderline sour/aspirin-like. Damn. Ok, you know how to boil a shit ton of hops and make an unbalanced beer. Good work.

Very soft haziness to the light yellow body, with a moderate amount of white head.
Touches of honey-like maltiness dot the aroma while soft, but succulent floral aromatics and deliciously delicate tropical fruits slowly crescendo in to a juicy, green ending replete with just enough citrus to give it some zestiness, but allow the papaya and kiwi-like notes room to shine. No alcohol and no pine or resin, thankfully.
Flavor is equally delicate. I guess by delicate I just mean it’s not overhopped and is very well attenuated, drinkable and crisp. Almost lager-like in its cleanliness, and full of light pears, pineapples, papaya and just a hint of tangerine and oranges. Some pils malt-like sweetness adds just a touch of honey and provides ample body for the beer, while carbonation is on the lower side, adding to the softness of the mouthfeel. No alcohol, no flaws, absolutely no resin or pine. Delightful stuff.

Enjoyed on tap at Half Acre Taproom in Chicago, IL. How is this the only beer to be called Bonestorm? Such a great name. Appearance is a muddy dark brown with a rich and frothy off white head. Aroma of roasted chocolate and grassy hops, smells great and fresh. Taste is top notch, finishes bitter and maintains light chocolate. Great dark ale.
