Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.
Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.
Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Bottle @ Tap and Handle Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy orange appearance with a thin white head. Tangy, orange citrusy goopy, spicy floral yeasty, lightly tart aroma. Hay, straw grainy, citrusy, a bit tangy flavor. Maybe a touch of tartness but not sour by any means.

Purchased at the Half Acre tap room in 4 pack form, enjoyed all throughout the 4th of July at various parties. This stuff is pretty great for the style. Appearance is a lightly cloudy, slightly dark gold with a rich and frothy white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is rich in lager yeast with a great hop profile and a bit of hay/caramel malt, smell is fantastic. Taste goes down with a light burn, it does taste like a higher ABV lager, moderate bitterness, has an interesting tropical fruit profile, it’s a great brew but not the best \"session\" beer, definitely fills you up after more than 1-2. Still great stuff though.

Purchased at Half Acre in mini growler form, enjoyed at a friends new place in Chicago, IL. I was hesitant to get this but am happy that I did for the warm summer day. Appearance is clear copper gold with a modest white head. Aroma is light with malt and hay, light sweetness. Taste is great, goes down crisp with a great finish, really well done for the traditional style.

16 oz. can. Dark mahogany color with small off white head. Aroma is mostly malt (nutty) and yeast. Flavor is roasted grain, light toffee and a light hop bitterness on the back end of the sip. Body is appropriate for the style, soft carbonation, balanced sweet and bitter. The overall impression of the beer is good. However, it just seems a tad boring. I appreciate the classic brewing of the style (nothing is out of place here) perhaps my beer ego has reached a new level. Maybe I have now escalated into a whole new snob category….

Bomber. Pours a cloudy brown color with a large beige head. A sweet fruity and nutty nose. A nice rich flavor of mostly caramel, dry dusty malts, some berries especially strawberry, a bit of toffee. Light bitterness in the finish. Good.

Enjoyed on tap at Half Acre Taproom in Chicago, IL. Appearance is clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is abundant in pine hops, also a touch of citrus. Taste goes down bitter, rough, but pleasant. Nice burn, tastes great fresh.
