Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.

Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.

Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Can. Pitch black like motor oil with no head. Nose is toasted coconut, chocolate, bourbon. Extremely sweet and chocolaty, lots of vanilla, coconut, cocoa syrup, bourbon. Burns like bourbon too. Sweet and boozy, too much for me. Great nose but almost undrinkable.

Solid fundamentert.

Pint can. Pours a dark brown color with a large beige head that slowly fades away. The aroma is roasted malts and something perfumy. The taste, like the aroma, also feature roasted malts in the forefront with a bit of something floral following. Bitterness is very minimal. The palate seemed thin. Finished short and dry with a bit of lingering sweetness. Overall: Interesting take on Schwarzbier, not great but not bad either.

From Good Times Oakland, canned June 27th.

Pours a clear pale gold with a lot of bubble action, small head of foam, retention and lacing are good.

Smell is kind of grassy, citrusy,. hoppy. No discernible malt presence.

Taste is hoppy but not like a hop water kind of way. On the grassy/citrusy way that is pleasant to my palate. Tiny bit of toasted malt here that I almost overlooked.

Mouthfeel is better than it should be for the abv. I would drink this again.

Can shared with the fishing crew after a long wait to have some hugs. Pour is motor oil with thin head. Aromas of charcoal, chocolate, mole, prunes. Flavor is a lovely mix of all that. Warm, burnt, lovely.
