Description
You can come get to know our beers and the people behind them at either of our two locations.
Our original brewery on Lincoln Avenue is home to our Brewery Shop, where you can sample or purchase to-go, and a Tap Room, where you can stay, get a bite to eat and get to know who we are and what we do. You can now also visit our new brewery, on Balmoral Avenue, where we have a beer garden in nice weather and a completely separate food program.
Both locations offer perennials Daisy Cutter, Bodem, Pony Pilsner and Tuna plus plenty of small batch beers released weekly.

Draught @ First Draft, Chicago IL (Sept 2025). Extremely hazy dark yellow-orange with a small frothy off-white head, faint orangey aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter orrangey taste with faint alcohol undertones, thin body, long finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Punchy, punchy sauce. Deep gooey dark fruits, chocolate layered, mellow roast, burnt toffee, raisins, stewed berries, a little bitter scorched earth. Full bodied, chewy, thick. Warming finish, lightly sticky. Monster of a beer. Not cloying despite its richness. Super.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Black pour with some brown around the edges, and a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of bourbon, maple, vanilla and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, maple, chocolate and earthy mushroom. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and vanilla aftertaste. Enjoyable beer overall.

Intense, sweetish and heavy with cocoa, coconut, roastiness, vanilla, coffee and hints of stingy berries and loads of barrel. Quite heavy and complex

Aromas are an odd but pleasant blend of a traditional pilsner with some fresh citrus with a little bit of resin hops. Flavors are similar to nose, more bitter than sweet with good carbonation. Nice beer.

Salty, roasty and sweet with some barrel, chocolate sauce, licorice and bourbon. Okay, but 2024 was slightly better.

Great stuff. Rich and fully realised. Thick but not cloying. Hearty dark malts, bittersweet cocoa, ashy bourbon, chocolate cake, raisins, faint orange peel only, boozy warmth. Rather drinkable for such a beast.
