500ml bottle [Ortenau - Breisgau - Ostwestfalen-passage arranged by bartlebier, thank you!]. Clear, deep red glowing, chestnut colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish malty aroma with nuttily touch, unpleasant, musty, fungoid interference, cautious fruity overtones with hints of lingonberry and plum. Taste is moderately sweet malty, caramel notes, a touch of honey, apple syrup, lingonberry; smooth, soft palate, lasting sweet-ish finish, a sweet film coats the lips.

500ml bottle [item of the penulminate bartlebox, thank you!]. Barely clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly floral, hoppy aroma, a touch of mint, pale malty background with hay spiciness. Taste is pale malty, minimally floral and fruity hoppy overtones, a very cautious touch of orange. Quite light for its slightly higher abv, unusual aromatic spectrum.

Bottle. Hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and some alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with lots of alcohol. Oily. 030315

Bottle, 75cl corked. A hazy, golden colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is quite sugary, piney and orangey, with some pale malts. Some alcohol notes both in the aroma and in the flavor. It’s sweet, full-bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. Orange peel, resins and bitterness to deal with the sugar. Lasting finish with lots of hoppyness. Bitterness, resins and oranges. Quite nice this one, although a tad alcoholic. 150228

Getreidiger Beginn, dessen Alkoholigkeit sich in der schweren Herbe zeigt. Hell malzig ohne störende Süße, weiter herb, vergleichsweise süffig, nur kurz ist der Alkohol deutlich erkennbar. Der Geschmack ist typisch deutsch, es sich vor allem im Hopfen zeigt. Ok, sein Geld nicht wert. 9/8/9/8/12/9
