50 cl can, 2016 release, goes around 330 Yen. Clear deep gold color, average looking soapy white head which settles down quickly and has a mild persistence. Fresh smell. Aroma is light fruity, some spices (lavender/rosemary) and vague resiny notes. Flavor is unusually intense. Taste is relatively bitter, metallic bitterness, similar to the lager version. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Clean, dry finish.

Can from family mart in shinjuku. Straight from can so didn’t see it. Aroma of pale lager mixed with schwarz, clean malts and caramel, fluffy foamy texture, medium body, mild alcohol, smooth finish. Was nicer than expectable, not bad at all

50 cl can from lawson in Kyoto for 330 yen approx. Golden color compact white head decent lacing. Mild malty with herbal notes similar to the regular one. Not much hop character as expectation. Solid japanese lager tough.

Can. Sparkling golden golden color, clear, well a bit hazy maybe, huge head. Solid nose, a bit biscuity, light citrus hops. Slightly too sweet, biscuity, creamy, full, with light bitterness. High drinkability. Decent.

Can from Family Mart. Golden-orange, clear, with a high head. Nice enough hoppy nose, oranges, lemons, light wheatiness. Grainy, sweet flavor with spirits burn, some fruit and a bit of strangely creamy ass. Thin but heavy, if you get that. They are doing nice things with hops in these beers, which is really just a waste of good hops.

Golden color. Odd grassy hop nose with some strange yeasty character. The mouth is fuller and richer than regular Malts. Prickly carbonation. Faintly get the white wine aspect, but overall a bit muddled. OK, but not up to par with other Malts.

6% version from a 7-11 in Shibuya as 金のビール / クリーミーな泡 (Kin no Biru Kurimina awa - Gold Beer Creamy Foam) Premium All Malt. Clear, deep golden color, big bubbly head, redicong, no lacing, minimal persistence. Smells quite nasty. Aroma of grain, potato/starch, boiled vegetables, and metallic bitterness with alcohol, some vague fruity esters. Taste is quite bitter but not for good, metallic. Medium body, carbonated, fluffy texture, slick finish, boozy. Not good, disappointing.

Light golden color, soapy white head. Funny smell, vaguely winey. Aroma is quite floral, a little fruity and citrusy, vague white wine and apple with some dusty malts in the background. Heavy/forced carbonation, light body, short floral dry finish. Light body, watery texture, quite sparkling indeed. Weird flowey thing, i bet they had thrown something in even if not written on the tin.

F: big, white, stable. C: light pale gold, clear. A: malt, grainy, caramel, hay, grassy. T: very malty, grainy, caramel, bread, hint of grassy, medium body, good carbonation, commercial but quite reach rich taste for that, not bad, 35cl can from Tagawa Vleurgat shop in Brussels.
