Tall boy can. Innocuous nose, honey malts, some sulfer or chalk, like in their Pumpkin, fruits, but hard to say which kind. Just a bit estery and very low hop. Deep gold heading to orange, tall head. Sweet, touch of candy, like Estern banana candy, touch of orange, biscuits and honey. Very sweet. Otherwise decent enough, though one is sufficient. They really haven’t gotten many of these right, if any.

Can from Lawson. Deep yellow. Nose is blood orange, a touch of leafy hops, lemon, bit of malt. Weird orange juice. Sweet and syrupy orange flavor like a Fanta with a touch of beer mixed in. Too sweet and sleazy, and almost no beer character. Hard to drink.

Can. Reddish amber color. Decent caramel malt aroma, some minerals and earthy hops. Flavor is decently rich amber malts and caramel. Reasonably ok body, probably on account of the boosted alcohol. Not so bad at all, really, so this crappy series.

Can. Pale amber, thin, tons of bubbles, high, foamy Head. Light vanilla, light pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg nose. Pissy nose and looks like ass. Very spicy. Otherwise thin ass. Lame vanilla and spice, light caramel malt, bit of pumpkin. Much worse than their other one. This is thin piss.

Can from my local supermarket. A clear orange-gold. The aroma was malty caramel & grapes. Medium bodied with a very rough carbonation. The taste is syrupy sweet fruits & light malts. Not bad but a touch gassy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Suntory Pumpkin Special is a clear orange that isn’t as pretty as the craft select but doesn’t look that bad. The aroma is the same peach fuzz, vanilla cream soda as the other one. Lighter bodied with a rough sharp carbonation that has the saving grace of a dry finish. My biggest complaint is this seems incredibly gassy, I’ve had two sips and want to burn already. The taste isn’t as cloyingly sweet as The Pumpkin, possibly nutmeg with the vanilla. There’s something pastry like to it but artificial. Meh, both are misses but this one is a hundred yen cheaper...

Pouring a nice looking clear orange. The aroma is a sickly sweet vanilla peach fuzz. Light bodied with a weird cottony mouthfeel. The taste is grainy sweet and then artificial vanilla flavoring. Yuck, they should have at least googled pumpkin beer recipes before making this...

Can from the supermarket near work. Drank straight from the can. Vanilla all over the nose with some light sugar and A & W cream soda. Taste is sweet, but not overly so with some light pumpkin on the finish. Flavors are very artificial tasting and some a little too creamy of a texture. Can. Vanilla in the nose, plus a bit of spice and carmel, and maybe pumpkin, I don’t really know. Kind of chalky as well. Rther unpleasant, to be sure. Looks nice enough, amber-orange with a tll head and hazy. Tstes like vanilla powder mixed with chalk. Spicy, light fruity pumpkin. Hmmm. Not as horrible as some have said. Give them credit for trying, and not a drain pour. The spicing is all wrong, but it isn’t too sweet and ok otherwise.

Can from Aeon mall. Decent citrus hop nose, bit spicy, touch of caramel, nce enough malt. Very light amber, clear, medium head. Nice orange-lemon, solid malts, not too sweet. More like an ale, really. Decent enough.
