About

bottle at hennie's clear orange, small white head. strong and powerful aroma of yellow fruits, ripe yellow fruits. and malts. a very heavy tripel aroma. yet dry. hints of flowers. flavor is booze, dry yellow fruits, alc. and i think yeast bitterness. really heavy stuff, this might even go as a barley wine. not that sweet, quite dry for the ABV in fact. Very belgian in strength and flavor, but not as much yeasty craziness as in some belgians. good stuff.

This is a high quality kriek, medium sourness, medium-high fruity. But still is an easy drinking enjoyable beer, and you’d never think it’s 8.5% abv.

Bottle from Beer Ritz. It pours clear blonde with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, floury bread, sponge cake, icing sugar, melon, papaya, white grape and dessert wine. The taste is crisp, clean, dry, citrus peel, baked goods, sponge cake, white grape, gooseberry fool, melon, bit of spice, kick of booze, grass and icing sugar with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, lively carbonation. Fruity, but never too sweet, like many tripels. Quite expertly balanced. Classy.
