Bottle at Travlr’s DC Departure RateBeer Tasting. Thanks solidfunk! Clear amber, no head. Aromas of caramel and butterscotch. Tastes of caramel, booze, butterscotch. Light body with a dry finish.

From a bottle at the RateBeer gathering 9/9/16. Pours a cloudy gold with a scant off white head. Aroma of banana. Flavors of citrus. Light bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy golden amber color. Aroma of herbal caramel. Taste is sweet burnt caramel. Nice.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Hazy pale amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol with some sweetness. Taste is malt, alcohol, bread, honey, and rye. Really doesn’t work for me. Doesn’t seem like an IPA.

Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Hazy copper with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, and malt. Taste is malt, citrus, caramel, and alcohol with just a touch of lemon. More malty than expected. Finish is a bit harsh.

Bottle at the July DC tasting. Poured a dark, almost black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted notes. Dark chocolate character. Interesting.

Rating #5600! Bottle at the Local DC Tasting. Black with light tan head. Aromas of roasty notes, dark chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, bitter floral notes. Medium body with a dry finish.
