Sample @Discretion. Pours clear golden yellow, medium white head, creamy, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is light citrus, yeast, pepper, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, yeasty fruitiness, peppery, citrus, spruce. Light body, creamy mouthfeel. Good beer.

Sample at Discretion. Pours deep ruby black with a medium creamy beige head that dissipates slowly leaving nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, ashes, and chocolate. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, coffee, mocha actually, ashes. Lighish body, low carbonation, bit of acidity. Pretty nice effort.

Cloudy orange nose is honey. Not much else. Very bready. Clementine juice. Lots of rind and more banana Esther’s. Finishes very sweet and clean. Quite nice

Black with red hues. Charcoal nose with old coffee. Has a root beer floor sasparilla and vanilla but the charcoal burnt oak totally detracts from the sweetness. Roast carries on for a while

Burnt orange. The rye spice is so noticeable on the nose. Citra or simcoe hops as well. Oh yeah. Total piney floral citrus taste. Simcoe or chinook? Rye is very well balanced. This is a nice beer.

Dark orange. Very cool juicy and spruce tip aroma. Oh nice. Floral and a hit of sesame seed. Candy corn elements very earthy.

Bright yellow nose is weak. Taste is nice. Lemon skin, wheat and banana runts. Chalky and dry

Draft at GABF. Pours black with tan head. Nose and taste of malt, light smoky roast, chocolate and touch of ash. Lighter medium body.

Tap. Pours nearly opaque deep brown with a small creamy beige head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is cigarettes, coffee, dark roasted malts, cocoa powder. Flavor is the same, nice chocolate notes prominent. Medium sweet and lightly bitter from the roast. I am not getting a lot from the yeast, although there is an almost peppery bite that could be Saison yeast. Medium body. The highlight of my tasting flight for sure.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small off white head and some lacing. Aroma is too light to get much more than pine. Flavor is lightly sweet, line resin, caramel, spruce, lightly bitter, well balanced. Medium body.
