Draft. Blackish beer with ruby highlights and a nice tan head. Coffee, chocolate, and malt aroma. caramel, coffee, chocolate flavor with hops to balance (and add some persence). Fuller bodied. Caramel, coffee, and chocolate linfer. Nice complexity - but smooth enough to really enjoy. Some vanilla is present. Coffee in balance - not overpowering at all.

Draft. Hazy light-amber beer with an off-white head. Yeasty, light citrus aroma. Bready, yeasty, bubblegum flavor with light citrus. Medium body. Bready malts and bubblegum linger with light spice and light citrus. Very nice. Could drink a lot of this.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Pot and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit, pine, woodsy flavor. Medium body. Grapefruit, pine, and earth linger. Nice bitterness - especially for a pale ale.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Nice grapefruity aroma. Grapefruit and rind flavor with some malt to back (just the right amoutn - not too present and not too dry). Medium-plus bodied. Grapefruit and rind linger with slight pine.

Beautiful deep red-burgundy beer; smallish yellow-brown head. Hoppy nose, with dark malts & chocolate. Aroma as from dark green leaves - holly? Hop tea: with malt, aromatic hops, bitterhops, and bitter leaf vegetables as Roman salad or spinach. Good balance. Spices, retronasal, are unidentifyable. Medium bodied at best. Weak point of this beer is its rather thinnish body, beefed-up by the spices. Thank God ( and Rodger D.) this bears no resemblance to their I. Wit. This one is quite passable!

Rather smallish off-white, but very dense head over hazy-ish amber beer with mossy shine. Phenolic-spicy nose, with banana and othere esters, wheat. Aggressive, sharp taste, insectoid-like, spiced with Godknowswhat. Wheat again, but the other flavours overwhelms everything. Caustic MF, astringent, burning. What IS this flavoured with? Changed the coriander for wormwood? Am I going to get hallucinations in a while?

On cask at the brewpub. Roasted malt aroma. Mahogany in color with a substantial beige head. Starts with smooth roasted malt, with enough floral bitter to nearly balance. The finish is dry, and the non-sweet roast flavor and the floral aspects accumulate. It just keeps on getting better. Nice lacing.

Draft at the brewpub, the day after Xmas. Light caramel aroma. Reddish tinged amber color with a respectable beige/tan head. Nice pine note over roasted caramel. The spice has a strong evergreen direction. Like juniper. Clean and refreshing. Drinks easier and more flavorfully than many a Xmas ale.
