[33cl can from Beer52.] A peaty brown pour with a loose cream head; fruity aroma with a touch of yeast; smooth creamy body with a toasted malt taste; and a satisfying dry malty finish with a little chocolate. A rather good porter.

Can from Beer52. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry and dark chocolate. Flavour of salted liquorice and nuts. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Full flavoured and it definitely brings a Black Forest vibe.

Can from Beer52. It pours clear darkest brown to black with a bubbly off - white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, vibrant crunchy ripe cherry, vanilla, Bakewell tart, toasty malt and some marzipan. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sweet - sour, ripe cherry, crunchy, tangy red fruits, almond, roasted malt, toast, some vanilla, cherry jam, cacao nibs and Bakewell tart with a toasty finish. Light to average body and fine carbonation. Never too sweet of artificial. Works pretty well really.

0.33 l can, Beer 52 package, thanks to Višnja 666 who brought it from London, shared with Ade McSquid and Višnja 666. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Sweet chocolate candy, intense syrupy, slightly fake, coca-cola aroma. Marzipan and chocolate flavour, nutty, roasty, lightly burnt, some sweetness, better balance. Smooth, light to medium body, some tartness, better balance. Smooth lasting finish.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 15th November 2024, poured into an Augustijn chalice at home on Sunday 21st January 2024, wet and very windy outside. Fast fading tanned head, black bodied. Cherries in both the aroma and taste, chocolate in there too, what a pity it's only 4% ABV and watery.
