Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Copper-amber with a head. Mildly bready brew, so has a slightly different pils taste, although not necessarily improving anything here.

Swing top job. 5.1%. Bee Polska Darnall. Light mist on an orange gold. Slim lasting white foam. Undercurrent of syrup here but not enough to spoil. There’s sweet grain and a whiff of spicy hop. Taste is fairly sweet overall. Tries to dry out and produce some bitterness but it doesn’t really happen. It’s drinkable but definitely not one I’d pick up again.

Swing top job. Bee Polska Darnall. Lightly hazed medium gold. Good thin dense lasting lacing white foam. That’s where it tails off. Smells of corn syrup and wet paper. Taste has a gluey waxy sweetness. Flabby and oily. Can’t be bothered going further. Grim.

Bottle from Super Lincs, Lincoln. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are fruity and quite sweet Mango and Pineapple. Light but sticky body.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Darker clear amber with a thin head. Quite smooth so it went down the palate quite well, quite fast. Sugary, slightly deeper tasting malts.
