300ml bottle. Cloudy pale golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Minimally spicy, wheaty aroma, a touch of citrus, Taste is spicy, minimally soapy, a citrus touch. Floppy.

Dunkel hefiger, leicht bitterer Antrunk. Leicht bananig, etwas Alkohol. Süßlich, süfig, leicht karamellmalzig. Durchaus in Ordnung aber nichts Besonderes. 10/10/11/10/10/10

In erster Linie bananiger Antrunk, der schnell von dunklen und hefigen Malznoten abgelöst wird. Im weiteren Verlauf bleibt das dunkle Malz konstant bzw. intensiviert sich zum Ede noch, dazu herbe Kaffeenoten. Dann wieder bananig und Ähnlichkeiten zu einem dunklen Weizenbock. Intensives und gutes Bier, das mir auch daher gut gefällt, dass die oft typische Süße nicht vorhanden ist. 10/11/8/12/12/12

Rerate: tap @ de poort, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma of slight salty seawater, bit grassy hop. Like you are walking along the seashore with a typical spring breeze. Taste is medium bitter, citrussy, hint of caramel sweetness. Quite ok. Original rating: 2.8. Bottle. Slight hazy golden color, medium slight off-white head. Aroma is grainy, some hop, hint of spicy yeast, slight soapy. Some flowery note as well. Bit sharp taste, flowery, medium bitter. Some sugary sweetness.

Bottle at Huppel The Pub, Den Haag. Poured a clear amber with a thin glass hugging head. The aroma is crisp and yeasty. The flavour follows on from the aroma with lots of Dutch/Belgian yeast and a little malt on the palate. It’s crisp and refreshing, but a little bland.

Bottle at the Huppel The Pub. Poured a hazy amber with a thin glass hugging head. The aroma is of malt and banana. The flavour is weak bitter, with lots of smooth malt and hints of toffee and caramel.

(Draught at De Paas, Den Haag, 21 Feb 2013) Cloudy brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dark bread, chocolate and dried fruit. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, raisins and a fairly sweet finish with a mild spicy bitterness. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Nice one.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra, Culemborg. Hazy amber with a white head. Malty aroma with some hops. Nice hopbitterness with a smooth surprisingly long lasting aftertaste. Nice one,
