Bottle thnx to Stijn. Pours unclear blonde, big fluffy head ( loads of pressure in the bottle). Smell is tart, lemongrass, mild coriander, mild salty Ness ( mineral) taste is salty, very soft tartness, wouldn't even call it sour. High carbonation, decent body. Mild spicy Ness ( but not as clearly recognizable as in the scent) even a bit malty. Nice gose. 7.3 23-10-2018
Rerate somewhere 2023 ( I think) from re-found ratings. Scored a 6.9 now.
Pours very hazed, cloudy yellow. Scent is very mature, complex, salty touch. Balanced, but rough. Taste is assertively rough, raw maltyness, providing a sweetness I didn't expect or desire. High carbo. Mild saltyness. Doesn't seem fully fermented to me, is this how it's supposed to be ? (didn't find this in my Original rating) Wort-like. Decent, not great.

Draft at the source, and I watched them pour it from the tap, so not a blend. I confirmed this with the brewer, who was in attendance and pouring Kostritzer from one of the stands set up for the Worl Cup. He said it's brewed with some ingredients used in bockbier, and it's a higher abv, "But it's above all a gose." Interesting beer.

Draft at the source. Murky yellow color, white ice cream cone head. Spiced lemon aroma. Big coriander hay and citrus taste. Lots of farmhousy funk. Love it.

17/6/2018. Tap at the Gosenschenke "Ohne Bedenken", Leipzig. Pours cloudy golden amber with a good sized foamy off-white head. Aroma of coriander, toffee, fruit, veg, hint of banana and herb. Moderate sweetness, light sourness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

17/6/2018. Tap at the Gosenschenke "Ohne Bedenken", Leipzig. Pours thick murky dark milky yellow with a long lasting foamy white head. Aroma of coriander, salt, hint of citrus, banana and herb. Light sweetness, hint of sour. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 2018-04-30)im 2018-04 getrunken. Diese gelbe, trübe Gose zeichnet sich durch eine ganz milde Säure, ein präsentes Hefearoma und ein deutlichen Einsatz von Salz aus. Dadurch bekommt das Bier einen seifenartigen Charakter, was man als spannend bezeichnen kann. In der Nase wirkt es fast wie ein Pilsner. Alles im zusammen eine sehr typische Leibziger Gose. Leider ist diese Art nicht so mein Ding. Danke an Erzengel für dieses Bier.

50cl swing top bottle courtesy of Erzengel, thanks! A hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus fruits, herbal fruits, salt. Taste of soft herbal fruits, yellow fruits, citrus, wheat, some salt. Nice!

On tap @ Ohne Bedenken. Fruity fresh mild sourness. Lactic sourish, very mild with only hints of salt. Lots of herbal coriander, smooth fresh sourness mild in the back. Great Gose with not too much sourness on a funky fresh back. Fruity with mild smooth yeast. Great.
