Pils proeverij Arendsnest. Troebel, bleek, met grote bubbels. Weinig geur, een beetje groente, daarna nog wat mout en fruit. Smaak is wat zurig-fruitig en wat bitterig. Iets droge bittere afdronk. Als pils vond ik het niet al te best, als bier ook maar matig. Of er was iets mis mee.

Fles uit het BA Baracus 2026 pakket, besteld bij de webshop. Nagenoeg zwart bier met een verrassend mooie créme kleurige schuimkraag die best mooi blijft staan. Smaak is krachtig warm en bitterzoet met overduidelijk de whiskey, wat koffie, chocolade en een vleug vanille. Echt een top bier!

Can at home shared with Laura. Clear darker golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, grassy hoppy. Flavor is malts, grassy hops, a bit sticky hoppy, lightly bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Okay.

Via de Jopen webshop. Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is vrij bitter, een beetje hartig en krachtig warm met veel rook, wat karamel en duidelijk veel bourbon. Verder een heel romig mondgevoel.

Can at home. Almost clear light golden. Zesty, spicy hops, star fruit, grapes, grassy, a toich of crisp malts. Light sweet and bitter, very light sour. Crisp medium body. Nice.

On tap. Pours a very dark brown with full head. Aromas of dry roasted malts, licorice, and a bit of smoke. Flavors follow same with smoke more prominent plus some alcohol. Seems thin due to the alcohol presence.

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of dark fruit with figs leading, soft peaty smoke, thin whisky and soft toasty malts. Flavors of cola, dark fruit, soft peat, dry chocolate and roasted malts. Seems thin, but otherwise quite good.
