Pours a very dark redbrown to black. Medium to small tanned head fades fairly fast. Scent is a blast of PB, roasted malts, brewhouse (mash) aroma. Coffee, tad cocoa. Taste is very syrupy, pastry heavy, roasted peanut. Overlkill.

Bottle/Fest. A- Cherry, mild scotch, oak. A- Dark copper color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Cherry, fruit cake, sherry, medium sweetness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Quite fruity and I do wish peated barrels would have been used. I get more sherry than scotch and honestly it's quite light on the palate for what it should be. Loved the label artwork too. Different than most wee heavies I've had but still great.

Bottle/Fest. A- Brett, caramel, cranberry. A- Mahogany color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Cranberry, raspberry, tart, Brett. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, tart finish. O- A very nice berry flavor with the right balance of brett. Quite refreshing.

Bottle/Fest. A- Brett, cherry. A- Peach color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Funky, cherry, Brett. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, bright finish. O- Lots of funk and quite lively. Very refreshing flavor and almost like an Italian soda or spritzer. A bit too much carbonation for me, but nice.

16oz can. Sweet, ridiculously sweet. Nestle quik powder notes. Pastrified all the way, inklings of classical Russian Imperial Stout somewhere under it all, peeking through now and again. Chocolate Rye is a nice touch. Overall just brutally sweet.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, foamy beige head subsides. Aroma is sweet, malty, raisins. Taste brings more sweetness, malty, woody, raisins and a little bit of ABV. Mildly dry finish.
