16oz can. Artificial flavoring overload. Deep cherry pie tone, graham cracker/cheesecake vanilla chemical factory candy sweetness. I mean, this is some World Class 16 year old girl birthday party beer, but just kind of embarrassing for an adult of any sort to sip at. Good for the price ($1.50) I paid I guess. Tasty, but..

16oz can. Malty. Pretty solid for the style. Very moderate hop balance, really lets the malts take center stage. Straightforward, easy drinking. Good.

Aromas are slightly tart cherry cheesecake. Flavors are similar to nose but more tart. Wish it was a little more sweet and less tart. Don't think I ever had a tart cheesecake. Otherwise not bad. Might be good to cook with.

16oz can. Really insipid, juvenile, embarrassingly bad beer. Candy flavors can't really do much with a dead boring, thin backdrop. Would be a lot better in a kettle sour. Pretty shabby beer.

Sampled from the tap at Malcolm Yards. Pours a near clear deep brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of maple with some sweet dark grains and a bit of earthy roast underlying. Flavor is maple forward with a hint of coconut and a bit of earthy dark grains supporting.

Black body, with a tiny, tan head. Aroma of peanut butter, nuts, maple, cocoa, coconut, toffee. Tastes similar. Oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes warm, sweet, a bit boozy, with chocolate, nuts, coconut, some maple syrup. Rich an decadent, with the additives dominating, but still well balanced. Warm and oily sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16
